Mr. Goldstein would certainly be the first to say that South Central Elementary School kept the tradition of camp going in its own creative and grand style - which was only possible through the incredible administrative support (and night-time storytelling) of our principal, Mr. James Kendall - and to the assortment of highly gifted and extremely caring individuals who gave of their personal time and patience to stick it out each year with as many as 100 6th graders - all lost together somewhere in the woods - beginning with the first uphill hike in 1986, and ending with a closing campfire tune (probably a Beatles' number) in the spring of 2001.

Not every counselor who ever helped out will be spotted here, but this page is dedicated in sincere thanks to everyone who made so many years so special for around 1000 kids.
