A few minutes' recollection ...
Either my memory's a little fuzzy, or perhaps it's just the age of the VHS tapes these few moments came from. One thing's for sure, we had a good time for so many years at Wyandotte Woods. The name of the place has changed to O'Bannon Woods, and that, I suppose, would just be life. Mr. Goldstein once said to me, "I never wanted to see you campers grow up ...but you did so anyway." My feelings about all of you out there who went to camp with us are the same, but growing up is very good sometimes. Without it, I suppose such memories would never be as special as they are. I would like to thank Lee Cable and Marty Purdy for sitting down with me and knocking down the tunes for this film in a couple quick minutes. It was put together to help Judy O'Bannon and all other interested, sensible folks save the Group Camp area from being torn down. (Some of the buildings need repair, and the state is debating on whether they should be saved ...or bulldozed.) If you would like to have your say about the worth of saving Camp - and I hope many, many of you do - send an email to me at nhbrewer@ius.edu I will see that your letter reaches Mrs. O'Bannon.
